Ash Wednesday 2025

Ash Wednesday 2025

On Ash Wednesday students and staff gathered in year groups throughout the day to spend time in prayer and reflecting on scripture. Our Faith in Action team led the readings and we were joined by Fr Yemane for some of our services. We examined our conscience; this is where we were invited to reflect on times we had not always been the best version of ourselves and were challenge to put into action the three duties of Lent: praying, fasting and almsgiving. Students and staff were then invited to receive the ashes on their forehead as a sign of their faith.
