Sports Awards

This year has seen the PE department come back to life, and our students and staff have really embraced it. Student participation in a wide range of extracurricular sports including netball, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton and cross country has been high and it was fantastic to celebrate that. As we welcomed students and parents to the Sports Awards, anticipation was high as the trophies were awarded.

Special mentions go to:

  • Dan Appleyard and Maddie Boyle – For Outstanding Contribution to School Sport throughout their time at Cardinal Heenan
  • Izzy Stewart for being a part of the U15 National Football Team and her contribution within school
  • The Y10 boys footballers who were named Team of the Year
